A whole day of fun kindy learning, outdoors? YES PLEASE!

An initiative which is run by Nature Play Queensland is Outdoor Classroom day which is a national initiative to encourage discovery, nature play and learning in an outdoor environment.

We spend lots of time outdoors at Forestview, but this took things to the NEXT LEVEL! So much to explore, see, do and create using all of the wonderful items we found in nature.

We all agreed at the end of the day that is was of of the best Kindy days ever and that getting wet at the start of the day and then turning ourselves into a rainbow at the end of the day was the best part of all! Check out some highlights below of what we learned, discovered and explored as part of our amazing outdoor classroom day!

Miss Milani lead a very colourful and wet sandpit adventure, making channels and rivers and mixing and making different colour predictions.

At the end of the day, just before home time everyone got into their nice white t-shirts ready for some colourful fun! Definitely our favourite part of the day was having colour explosions. Check out our faces!
